Welcome to, The Old Box Company, where we create little wooden boxes. This unique form of art is inspired by Native American and Western culture, thus their rustic nature. We have been building a limited amount of these boxes since 1975, and each box is numbered. We build these boxes to store our memories in, whether letters, photos, or just little bits of our lives.
It was not the original purpose for them to becomes urn's, however many of our friends have request them to contain the ashes of a loved one. My Wife and I hope you enjoy them as much as we do.
Each Box and Lid are created by hand, one at a time.
We make our boxes to reflect the spirit of the old west. With old wood, copper, brass, wire and nails. So, handle them with care, for just like most everything in the old west they may poke ya, stick ya, or bite ya. We try not to have a shape edge but be careful.
